About Us
Greenfield Manufacturing was established in January, 1998. Originally located in Corinth, NY, GMI primarily served the specialty paper chemicals business. The company moved to Saratoga Springs, NY in June, 2002 in an effort to increase capabilities and accommodate an increase in sales and markets. In 2016, GMI built a new 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in the Grande Industrial Park at 25 Freedom Way, Saratoga Springs, NY.
GMI operates reaction/blend vessels ranging in size from 2,000-6,000 gallons with a range in material of construction from glass lined steel to stainless steel to rubber lined steel to FRP. Many vessels are equipped with low pressure steam heating, oil heating, and cold water cooling. Additionally, GMI operates high solids dispersion blend vessels from 7.5 hp to 100 hp. Small batch blending is conducted in 125-500 gallon blend vessels of stainless steel and polyethylene. The company also maintains a 5 gallon stainless steel reaction kettle for scale-up conversion work. Quality control testing is conducted on-site in the fully equipped QC Lab. In addition to analytical analysis for quality control, the QC Lab is also utilized for product development.
GMI is certified in the ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System standard.
